A.I.D.E.N. From Space!!!
Developed in Unreal Engine 5 from an example project named Stack O Bot, with responsibilities including set dressing, level design and implementation of core gameplay mechanics.A.I.D.E.N. From Space!!! follows the story of an alien android, A.I.D.E.N., who crash-lands in a suburban home and must navigate the unfamiliar domestic environment to reach its spaceship, stranded on the rooftop of the house. On its way, it will have to traverse different parts of a suburban house and exploring an average suburban house from an not-so-average perspective.

Lead & managed the project team of 5 people.
Designed & Developed the 3D environment and level flow for the first level.
Implemented in-game lighting.
Implemented grab/release object mechanic.
Designed, Developed & Implemented in-game UI & Menus.

Reflection & Outcome
This was my second Unreal Engine 5 project and the first developed within a team. Though this project, I deepened my understanding of lighting and how it shapes mood and storytelling, while refining my set dressing skills through attention to detail and narrative elements. I also explored modular level design, learning how modular segments can be used to control difficulty and influence player progression.Implementing features not present within the example project means working with Blueprints which introduced me to essential interactive elements, and leading the team strengthened my collaboration and leadership skills.
